At the end of three quarters of classroom training, the students are required to tackle real-world problems in various organizations. Companies usually recruit interns months in advance; thus giving them ample time to orient themselves to the requirement of their respective companies. Students work under the direction of a faculty advisor and a company guide. The project culminates with a project presentation and is graded based on depth of the problem, the problem-solving approach adopted and the efficacy of the solution provided. This quarter-long learning program is worth 8 credits.
