Research International Projects:

Coordinated an International Project at N.P.C.: Collaborative Project between India and Yugoslavia on Worker Participation in Management and Self-Management for Enterprise Level Socio-Economic Improvement.  This included coordinating a team of 13 members from HQ. as well as Regional Directorates of N.P.C.
Research Projects: Implications of Computerization for organizations for department of Electronics, Govt. of India.
Been a member of Resource Group for the NPC-NORAD-ILO PROJECT: New Forms of Work Organization; worked on improving socio-technical systems at a tannery unit as well at a P & T unit.
Been a member of resource group on  TRAINING TECHNOLOGY- a  Collaborative project between the Governments of India and West Germany – brought out a manual on Training Technology useful to the trainers in the industry.
Coordinated for UNICEF, a National Workshop: Productivity HRD and Health with special focus for improvement of status of women.

Productivity Education:

Coordinated the Project: Productivity Education; did workshops for school teachers on productivity education; instrumental in causing the educational Secretaries Conference, New Delhi – 1985 to pass a resolution stressing the importance of productivity education.

Productivity Information Disseminations – Publications:

Edited Productivity Journal from 1983-1987, responsible for the Silver Jubilee Issue Oct-Dec 1983; also brought out special sections on: Productivity in Indian Industry, Environmental Management; Human Resource Management; Appropriate Technology; Productivity Measurement.
Been a specialist in Resource Group on Training Technology brought out a training package; Trainers Manual – conducted training programmes – Training the Trainers; also conducted assignments on assessment of training needs in Organizations – NPC – RKW, West Germany collaboration.
Consultancy – Important Assignments:
Did an organizational analysis study at Good Year International, published the findings – Motivating the affluent Workers – The Challenge of Coming years which was awarded – The Shriram Award – 1981.
Been the External Consultant in the Turn Around Management at Indian Explosives Ltd. 1984-1986.

1. “Motivating the Affluent Workers – The Challenge of coming Years” won the Shri Ram Award Instituted by the Delhi Management Association, 1981.
2. “Is Gandhi Relevant to Modern India?” won the prize in the Inter University Essay Competition, Allahabad University, 1976.
3. ‘The Role of Indian Woman in the Process of Development” was awarded the First Prize in the competition instituted by Indian Committee for International Women’s Year, June 1975 – Prize given away by Mrs. Indira Gandhi, the then Prime Minister, Government of India.
