Message from the Dean Administration :

NITIE was initially set up by the International Labour Organization (ILO) under  the UN, It has been an institute of excellence in industrial engineering ever since its establishment in 1963. Central to its accomplishments to date is the faculty community at NITIE. We have 57 faculty members working in nine different areas.Our esteemed faculty have wide experience in teaching, training and research and many do consultancy projects for industries

Being a part of this community is not just a matter of honour but a matter of privilege as each one of us has the opportunity to collaborate with industry experts and faculty members from diverse areas on live projects to deliver unrivalled results to the industry. The consultancy projects done by our faculty range from making operations manuals to manpower planning to waste reduction and CSR studies for industry This explains our close relationship with industries which is prime to the real time learning experience students at the institute enjoy. The faculty culture at NITIE with an Ethos of continual exploring, researching and applying theory to practice contributes to the exemplary class experience that our students reap. This teaching pedagogy leads them to be future leaders with a holistic view of life.  

Students enjoy state of the art facilitate in the campus. Our library has a good collection of online journals. Students are encouraged to read research papers and get involved in various committee and extra- curricular activities, which prepares them to be future change agents and leaders in the industry
